Program Outcomes

The Work Force Youth Program model has evolved through the years, but our steadfast commitment to delivering quality outcomes remains unchanged. Since 1984, our innovative approach to youth development has achieved a remarkable record of success, boasting nearly an 80% participant retention rate, and virtually a 100% high school graduation rate. Of the students placed in Work Force “try out” jobs, 80% receive “competent” or “advanced” evaluation ratings from their employer-mentors.

A recent third party study of program alumni from the past ten years found that:

• Nearly 95% of participants enrolled in college or a technical program upon completing the program;

• Over 90% are currently pursuing high education and/or are employed.

And in keeping with our central goal of helping our young people join the social and economic mainstream,

• Two-thirds who completed the program four or more years ago are no longer living in public housing.
